About the treatment
Assisted hatching (AH) is an advanced laboratory technique used to help embryos implant more easily in the uterus. During IVF, the embryo is surrounded by a thin protective shell called the zona pellucida. Sometimes this shell becomes thick or hardened, making it more difficult for the embryo to “hatch” naturally and attach to the uterine lining.
